This is a hand carved natural onyx stone with a clown painted on the front.
Likely 1970s vintage, as that is when most Emma Thayer clown items were produced.
Totally bizarre and could be useful too as a paperweight, or just a fun knick-knack to have on your shelf. It is 5" wide and 2.5" tall.
